Dr. Nadeau has had dogs and cats for as long as she can remember and they have always been part of the family.  She started horseback riding at a young age and her love for animals grew.

She attended vet school at the Ontario Veterinary College after a short career in riding instruction and farm management.  Although she loved working with horses, she found she also had a great desire to help them even more.

Dr. Nadeau graduated from OVC with distinction in 2002 and came straight out to Alberta for an internship in a large equine practice that also had a small animal practice associated with it.  There, two very important things happened.  She learned that she enjoyed working with small animals as well and she was introduced to Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM).

Dr. Nadeau became a certified veterinary acupuncturist in 2007 and her love for the modality began.  She became a certified animal chiropractor in 2008 and also studied Equine Osteopathy.

After a 7 year hiatus to stay home with her three young children, Dr. Nadeau was ready to work again and she knew that TCVM was both her passion and her future.  For this reason she enrolled in a Masters Program for TCVM at the Chi Institute in Reddick, Florida.

She started Hoof and Paw Veterinary Acupuncture Services to bring the healing properties of TCVM to your animals in the comfort of their own environments.  Her goal is to create balance, maintain health and treat disease in all of her patients.

Dr. Nadeau shares her home with her three kids, a dog and a cat.
